The Need

This HR consultancy originally approached Transcribe It for fast, high quality turnaround for their word for word transcriptions, centred around grievance and the resulting investigations. Having experimented with the different verbatim levels of transcription, they settled on word for word and were extremely satisfied with the service we provided. A situation then arose where a high level executive of a company had put in a grievance but did not want their meeting with the HR investigator recorded. Transcribe It was approached to see if we could transcribe the meeting live, together with follow-up investigation meetings with colleagues.

How Transcribe It met the objectives

1. One team member with many years of experience transcribed all of the meetings [six in total], ensuring consistency.
2. Camera and audio turned off, transcribing in the background with full knowledge of the executive.
3. When the meeting finished, the notes were checked immediately and meticulously, to ensure what had been said was captured accurately.
